Choose The Better Experience
Arts-Inspired Group Travel means more…
Students On Broadway is best known for providing a uniquely superior level of on-the-ground service and management while in NYC for Parade Bands and other ensembles while on tour.
With us… “Broadway” is a state of mind. It’s a palpable energy and dedication to T.E.A.M. Leadership excellence, giving it everything we have with each Band, etc., time & time again.
This sentiment rings especially true for those Bands selected to strut their stuff in the Nation’s most coveted and sought after performance opportunity, the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade, on our home turf in New York City!
The “home court advantage” of being headquartered in Times Square, NYC enables Students On Broadway to fully implement its unique “T.E.A.M.” (Together, Each, Accomplishes, More) approach to large-scale student group ground management. T.E.A.M. is collaborative and was designed and implemented to facilitate a superior NYC Experience – balancing safety and mitigating risk above ground and below.
Put simply, the benefit of T.E.A.M.™ is the “Peace of Mind” that Educators and Chaperones can only yearn for when fostering the experiential opportunity for Students to expand their horizons beyond the classroom and, in most cases, beyond a collective comfort zone by traveling to NYC – a high-energy fast paced “city that never sleeps“.
The pulse of Students on Broadway are the individuals that comprise the Red-Jacket Field Talent, Management & Support Teams. Working in sync, they collectively understand, acknowledge, and embrace that our home city is front and center whenever & wherever there is a circumstance of significance, whatever that circumstance might be.
With years of combined experience, the Red-Jacket Teams adapt, modify, and adjust as needed to the ever-changing on-the-ground security landscape that is NYC. We conduct an annual “all-hands-on-deck“ safety awareness briefing facilitated by a lead detective from the NYPD Community Affairs Manhattan South Division. This is the same unit that is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing large-scale events in Times Square like the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop, and most notably, the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
New York is like no other city on the planet. The SBNYC Red-Jacket Team lives and breathes this city every day and is never far from the action. Our ability to remain current, relevant, and exercise timely vigilance uniquely positions Students On Broadway to provide the better experience in NYC & beyond.
“CLASS ACT!
When we as the band directors and chaperones loaded the bus for the final time, class act is how we described Students on Broadway. We can’t imagine this trip without them. They were there from the very beginning up until the very end. It starts at the top with Jerry and extends to all of the organizing. We met in their office for the first time last Thanksgiving and shared what we wanted our kids to experience. They made every single detail happen and then some. Our tour manager, was phenomenal. He never left our side and addressed every concern we had and calmed our nerves when necessary. All five of our tour guides on the buses were beyond phenomenal. Our students gave them a genuine standing ovation this morning when checking out of our hotel. Tonight when saying goodbye, many of them were in tears. Students on Broadway is special. We were so thankful to have you on our team this week!”
