December 2015 — After the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

When we initially made our choice regarding a travel company for the 2015 Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade, we were very impressed by the recommendations we received from Jeff Hood, Director of the Dunbar HS Band and from his parent organization.

The other factors that facilitated the choice included:

• The visit made by the Students On Broadway / Parade Bands NYC  team to Radcliff

• The way you tailored the trip to fit our needs (price was a big concern for our socioeconomic group)

• The candor of the conversations in regards to what you would offer compared to other travel companies without “bad-mouthing” the other groups

• The NYC tour guides being with the kids throughout the trip

The site visit we had in New York–seeing the parade route, the hotel, the theatre, etc. makes me so much more comfortable and informed as I discuss the trip with my kids and as I go through the planning process with your NYC team.

After we chose Students On Broadway, you have done a terrific job staying in touch and answering our questions.  The meeting at Midwest Clinic in Chicago was actually quite beneficial, as well.  It made me make time for this project, and it was helpful to talk face to face.

Jeff Beckman, your Band Director liaison, has been great throughout the process and I look forward to utilizing his expertise more as we begin to prepare for the performance.
